Todd L. Beck, DDS

He then completed a two year general practice residency at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Oklahoma City Oklahoma, where he received advanced training in general restorative dentistry, oral surgery, trauma, anesthesia and endodontics (root canal treatment).
Dr. Beck practiced dentistry in Oklahoma and was a faculty member at Oklahoma Health Sciences University School of Dentistry for nearly six years. During that time he was also the director of the IV anesthesia program at St. Anthony’s Hospital for the dental residents. In 1999 he returned to Oregon and began practicing at Mt. Tabor Dental. He is also an Associate Professor at OHSU in the departments of Community and Restorative Dentistry where he has taught since returning to Portland.
Dr. Beck thoroughly enjoys working with his staff, whom he credits with fostering a fun atmosphere in the office. He is also passionate about helping patients and that drives his desire to stay on top of the latest advances in dentistry.
Dr. Beck also volunteers monthly with Medical Teams International providing much needed dental services to Portland’s homeless and low income citizens. When he is away from his practice, he spends time with his family. In his leisure time he loves traveling, playing the trumpet and doing most anything outdoors.
Jacob R. Morrow, DMD, MPH
Dr. Jacob R. Morrow grew up in Billings, Montana and Mesa, Arizona. He attended Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, majoring in microbiology with a minor in chemistry. He then went on to earn a Masters degree in public health, with emphasis in public policy and management, from the University of Arizona in Tucson.
Dr. Morrow always knew he wanted to end up in Oregon permanently, so he left the southwest and graduated from Oregon Health & Science University and after graduating, began practicing with Dr. Beck at South Waterfront Dental and Mt. Tabor Dental.
In addition to working in private practice, Dr. Morrow volunteers regularly doing public health dentistry with Medical Teams International, and eventually plans on teaching dental students at OHSU. In dental school, Dr. Morrow served as a national leader for the American Student Dental Association, and still is an active member of the American Dental Association, Oregon Dental Association, Multnomah Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, and the Delta Sigma Delta dental fraternity. He attends a variety of continuing education courses to continue improving his dental treatment skills to better serve his patients.
In his free time, Dr. Morrow enjoys hiking, bicycling, playing the violin and viola, brewing beer, traveling, and spending time with his family, including his spouse and two dogs, Rocky and Troy.
